Note that the creator behind those sprites is Mazeran if you´ve ever seen some creations from him. It plays in a fantasy medieval world on Island full with different mythological creatures (Dragons are only a small chunk).
In short DIB is a monster capturing game comparable to Pokemon but it did it´s best to not by treated as a Knockoff. In return I will not make the game commercial. While the legal rights to the game are bound to the company he is employed on (Zigzagames) he is not able to support us in anyway here but he said that he won´t work against the project. We even managed to drag the original game development leader onto our Discord who was very happy to see that the game has still it´s own active playerbase. Since we are not able to emulate it without the source code the community is burning to make it fully playable again and thats the part where this project comes in. I am the Admin of a Subreddit with currently 160 Members and a Discord with over a 100 and we are fully active. Since it´s a Remake of a game that already exists, does it have a Community? The only way to play the game nowadays is if u have an old enough IOS advice with an Apple ID that downloaded the game before, luckily the game newer worked with online servers so it´s fully functional nowadays. Unfortunately after 2013 the devs stopped supporting it and with IOS 11 onward it was no long compatible with newer devices and in 2019 it also got taken down from the Appstore. It was made by Zigzagames and had quite the success for it´s time. This Game is a RPG Maker Remake of Dragon Island Blue.ĭragon Island Blue is an old IOS Mobile RPG from 2012.
